Cramer Completes Premier Online Instructional Resource for Little League Coaches and Managers

May 6, 2008

Norwood, MA, May 6, 2008 – Cramer, a digital marketing and event solutions agency, today announced the launch of LittleLeagueCoach.org, an online educational resource for Little League Baseball and Softball coaches, managers and volunteers. The website uses a dynamic combination of video and written content to provide coaches with instructional and motivational tips for coaching children. LittleLeagueCoach.org is intended to facilitate and improve the quality of communication and interaction between Little League® coaches, players and parents.

“Easy, direct access to useful, educational materials is vital for our volunteer coaches. This site will give them the basic tools they need to teach the millions of children who participate in Little League programs each year and it will also provide them with some straightforward tools and techniques to motivate and inspire their players to compete, while still having fun,” said Stephen Keener, President and CEO, Little League Baseball and Softball. “We chose Cramer as our partner on the LittleLeagueCoach.org project because of its successful work with its sports marketing and digital clients. Cramer’s design and technology professionals understand the unique needs of youth athletics, as a number of them are youth coaches themselves. Cramer produced a website that I know many of our coaches will use to help them create and deliver a positive experience for their teams.”

LittleLeagueCoach.org combines audio and video with interactive graphic and design elements to create a usable, interesting and informative resource for Little League coaches and managers. The website includes more than 70 interactive, full-resolution, near DVD-quality live-action on demand videos and articles that demonstrate useful coaching drills, techniques and lessons that are specific to the coaching of Little League players. All of the videos are accompanied by print-ready content, enabling coaches to bring what they learn on the website to the practice field, and can be organized and saved for future viewing. LittleLeagueCoach.org is password-protected and is available only to registered Little League® Baseball and Softball coaching staff.

“Little League coaches and managers are charged with a great responsibility, to plan and execute a positive, lasting impact on the experience of every child who plays Little League baseball or softball. Since we began this project, it has been our aspiration to provide Little League coaches with a resource that can help them to encourage kids, while simultaneously teaching them the fundamentals of baseball and softball,” said Nicholas Caringi, Director of Operations, Little League Baseball and Softball.

“Cramer is proud to have worked with Little League on this project. We believe that LittleLeagueCoach.org is an outstanding resource that will help nurture a whole generation of children in sports and inform thousands of dedicated coaches who selflessly donate their time and effort,” said Ken London, General Manager, Special Programming, Cramer.
