Senior Strategist

Job Purpose/Mission

The Senior Strategist is a client team lead responsible for the design of digital marketing solutions for Cramer’s Healthcare Practice.  Successful candidates will be charismatic leaders who are passionate about the digital world.   The Strategist is responsible for understanding professional, consumer and patient audiences and their brands as well as providing guidance in the development of digital marketing activities (including integration with offline/direct strategies) that span the product lifecycle. The Strategist will lead the solution definition and planning of the marketing programs for some of the industry’s leading healthcare companies ranging from building an online presence to acquisition, product launch campaigns and retention strategies. An understanding of the latest trends in digital communication channels and integrated marketing trends (SEM, user-generated content, segmentation, social media, virtual worlds, etc) is critical to success as is an understanding of the dynamics of communications to patients, providers and healthcare professionals.

 

Strategic Planning and Discovery

  • Successful candidates must have strategic brand planning, business analytics, consulting, account management or similar expertise in one or more of the following:
    • Online strategy and web development, retention and acquisition strategies, direct marketing and/or integrated planning focused toward patient audiences
  • Ability to develop fact-based strategic insights that effectively communicate the value of our ideas and approach to both our clients and our prospects
  • Understanding of how products are developed, commercialized and marketed throughout the product lifecycle
  • Knowledge and expertise in marketing while maintaining compliance within regulated environments
  • Ability to design primary and secondary research, conduct and analyze research and/or select and work with third parties to complete these tasks 
  • Ability to develop the recommendations and briefings that provide the creative and technology teams with the appropriate fuel to design and develop online and offline experiences that meet business objectives
  • Track record developing measurement plans, translate and optimize results into next steps

 

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years healthcare marketing, product or brand management or other equivalent business experience 
  • Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development and/or new product development within healthcare industry expertise
  • Regulatory compliance working knowledge and FDA language comprehension
