THOMAS MARTIN CEO

Chief Executive Officer

Rich Sturchio EVP “Our business philosophy has always been to treat customers the same way that we would want to be treated. That means, fairly and with respect – and it means giving our best to every client and every project. That’s the same environment that we’ve created here at Cramer for our employees. There is a great camaraderie and a great dedication to excellence. We appreciate the diversity of talents inside our building, and we have a great time collaborating to deliver excellent results”.

In 1982, Tom Martin founded Cramer Productions, purchasing the video equipment sales operations of Cramer Electronics where he had served as Corporate Controller. Over the next two decades, Tom grew the business to include corporate events, interactive media, internet design, web casting, print, and design services. In 1997, Tom led the company in the purchase and construction of an advanced new facility – turning a 70,000 sq. ft. warehouse into New England’s premiere production and design center.

Today, Cramer is a unique, full-service, integrated marketing solutions agency combining strategic marketing, creative, and production services under one roof. The company employs a staff of nearly 200 talented individuals, comprising marketing strategists, creatives, production managers, producers, account managers, designers, developers and support personnel. Tom continues to oversee all operations, helping Cramer to service a wide variety of regional and global clients.

Tom also focuses the company’s resources on the production and marketing of award-winning sports programs. Cramer produced the critically-acclaimed Boston Red Sox: 100 Years of Baseball History; the Emmy Award-winning Banner Years: The Official History of the Boston Garden; the PBS special The Story of Golf; as well as Home Run Heroes, a tribute to legendary Red Sox batters; Ray Bourque: The First 20 Years; and Boston’s Greatest Sports Stories: Beyond the Headlines. These productions rate among the nation’s best-selling special interest videos

Tom is also remembered as an outstanding athlete. While a student at Boston College in the 1960’s, Tom was twice voted to the All-American Ice Hockey Team. He was inducted into BC’s Hall of Fame and his hockey jersey was retired and hangs from the rafters at Conte Forum at Boston College. Tom was Assistant Captain of the 1964 Olympic Hockey Team. He is the 2005 recipient of the Lou Lamoriello Award, which recognizes a former college hockey player or coach who has created a unique professional record of accomplishment. These days, Tom is an avid golfer and has many club and state golf accomplishments, including being the winner of the New England Senior Amateur Golf Championship in 2003.

At the heart of it all, Tom Martin is a devoted family man. He and his wife June celebrated forty-two years of marriage in 2004 with their six sons, one daughter and sixteen grandchildren.
