In his 18-year career, Derrick Wood has played a leading role in creative strategy both in-house and at top local agencies. He has also provided direction and support to large creative teams, optimizing innovation and design.

As Senior Vice President, Creative Director at Cramer, he is combining his creative strategy background and his visual design skills to help create memorable experiences that drive brand advocacy. Equally balanced in left-brain, right-brain thinking, Derrick has developed a unique understanding of how brands behave and how businesses drive to profitability.

A graduate of Boston College, Wood has spent time as both a client at The University of Phoenix and Staples, Inc. and an agency leader at Jack Morton Worldwide, Mullen and Digitas. Prior to joining Cramer, he was the National Director for Event Strategy and Execution at The Apollo Group and The University of Phoenix. He was the Creative lead for Jack Morton Worldwide’s Boston office driving experiential marketing for SUBWAY, Monster, Fidelity Investments and EMD Serono. With Staples, Inc., he grew the capabilities of the in-house creative department for the major retailer. At Mullen, he managed the creative direction of top interactive accounts including Nextel and GM. He also co-led the creative team to establish interactive capabilities for this highly regarded agency. As Associate Creative Director at Digitas (formerly Strategic Interactive Group), Wood strengthened top brands including: L.L.Bean, Seagrams, Kraft Foods, Disney Interactive, GMC and Pontiac.

He calls Hopedale, MA home with his junior-high sweetheart Debbie and their four children.
